We had our first of four community meetings on February 27th to share stories, concerns, dreams of the people of Mexican heritage in South Omaha to put into a community mural and to record as podcasts for the Mexican mural’s web-site. It was very well attended and we had great discussions. Chanel 7 covered the event and Cahel 3 almost attended but was called away at the last minute. We recorded some of the discussions and kept lots of notes for designing the mural.
