Beauty & Creativity
Lived Abundantly.
We believe beauty and creativity are entwined with abundant living. We celebrate beauty collaboratively — in every home, community, and space we have the privilege to paint.

Built on
Craft & Care.A Midsummer's Mural is a family-run decorative arts studio founded by Richard Harrison in 1999. He was formally trained as a scene designer at North Carolina School for the Arts. After years of teaching, designing, and working in the theater world, Richard decided to expand his craft into the homes, businesses, and streets of Omaha.
Today, Richard works alongside his daughter Rebecca Storz and her husband Zachary Storz — making every project a true family effort rooted in trust, care, and a shared love of the craft. Family isn't just how we're structured — it's how we work. We treat every client's home or business the way we'd treat our own. We listen carefully, communicate honestly, and take pride in the kind of work that earns long-term relationships rather than one-time jobs.
Over 25 years, we've partnered with organizations like the Nebraska Arts Council, Omaha by Design, Art+Infrastructure, LIFEWTR, and SpartanNash, as well as hundreds of residential and commercial clients across the region — many of whom have had us back again and again. Our team has earned awards from the Nebraska Governor, Nebraska Arts Council, and Omaha by Design for our work in the community.
